Do I need all these programs on my computer?

I’m looking at my Add or Remove Programs window and I’m just trying to figure out if I need all these programs. Some of these programs I don’t know what there used for so therefore I don’t know if its safe to uninstall it. I’m going to list the programs below and could you please tell me which programs I should uninstall and could you possibly tell me what some of these programs are used for?

I don’t play games or go in chat rooms or anything like that on my computer. I occasionally listen to music online. So some of these programs I don’t think I need considering I don’t play games or go in chat rooms.

    Most of the HP stuff is not nessesry, Norton products are known to use like 80% of your computers power, I have heared stories that the weather bug contains spyare, and yahoo toolbar is jus taking up space.

    i work on computers alot and you do need most of these to keep your computer running. thier called bacground programs and no matter whats going on thier still going

    When I say NO I mean you don’t really need them so you can uninstall them to free up more space in your hard disk. Those with the YES are the ones you need so don’t touch ‘em.
